CK Convention in Valley Forge, PA

OMG...I am so beat!!!  I started out at 8:00 this morning to meet one of my friends so we could get our registration packets and then stand in line to get into the vendor fair at 9:00.  And then at 9:00 it was a mad dash for the floor...I was like you have to be kidding me it was like these ladies have never seen any of this stuff before and they were giving it away for free.   Very funny!!!

Our first class was with SEI and we did a adorable little chipboard book that spelled out friends.  I'll post photos later of it.  But the great thing about it was that we did not need to cut the paper out, as it was already done.  NICE!   They gave away a ton of prizes - thanks Lindsay!!!

The second and third class we took was presented by an area scrapbook store called Kinnon Keepsakes (they are located in Allentown, PA).  We did 2 different chipboard albums from Scenic Route...very cool (I'll also post photos of these later also).  Amy owns the store and Patty is her SIL - both are great teachers.  This is the second class of Patty's I have taken and they are so worth it.  She is very talented and creative.

All in all is was a great day - very tiring but I learned a ton of stuff (bought alot too...yikes!).  So keep an eye out for the photos..take care and happy scrapping!

Details...

I am posting new stuff finally.  We had some pretty bad thunder storms last week and needless to say that because of them, we have no tv's.  I feel like I am living in the dark ages, thank god for my macbook and ipod or I would be lost.  The good thing about having no tv is that I have been fiddling around my scrapbooking room and finally getting some things done.

I have opened a new shop on Etsy (love this website!!!), the new shop name is none other than - scripptyscraps.  Let me know what you think of everything if you get a chance to pop in.  Etsy is such a great website, it has literally everything and anything you can think of and the great thing about it is; most of it is handmade.

I am so excited that I will be at the Creating Keepsakes Convention this weekend taking classes. It's so great to learn new things or at least get a few new ideas.  And you can not go wrong in their vendor area...I can't imagine what it would be like to go to CHA.  I think my head would spin off.

Well...it's good night for now.  Toodles!
